When Hivve came to us, it was an idea: a better way for homeowners to find the pros their neighbors actually trust — built on genuine endorsements, not anonymous star ratings. We partnered with the Hivve team to turn that vision into a living, working platform, handling everything from brand and marketing to the full product and the infrastructure behind it.
We started with the public face of the brand: a custom marketing website designed to introduce Hivve’s neighbor-endorsement model and turn first-time visitors into members, built on a solid SEO and technical foundation from day one.
From there, we built the product itself — a full custom web application on Next.js and AWS. That included user and professional profiles, the endorsement-based recommendation system at the heart of the platform, direct messaging between homeowners and pros, a community feed, subscription billing through Stripe, and a complete admin platform to manage it all behind the scenes.
As real users came onto the platform, we kept building — a manual business verification flow, self-service account management, coupon and promo handling, profile discovery features, and a steady stream of enhancements shaped by real-world feedback.
From concept to launch and beyond, Hivve is a true ground-up build: brand, marketing site, a production web application, and the backend powering the whole thing — designed, developed, and refined as a genuine partnership.
